RAF Cosford Trip

We all had a wonderful day at RAF Cosford.

The children enjoyed participating in the workshops especially when they all got to role play going to the airport on an aeroplane. The teachers also had to get into character as ticket and check in operators, passport control officials, security and airline stewardesses. It was a lot of fun!

After trying out lots of scientific activities related to air travel in the fun and flight section the children got to take part in a parachute and helicopter making workshop. They chose card or cellophane and made predictions as to which would fall to the ground the quickest. They enjoyed testing them out to see which indeed was a more suitable material and why.

Finally we had a little time to take a walk around part of the museum and look at lots of different aircraft.

Take a look below at Class 1 and Class 2 photos.
