This year we will try to defend our title against other schools as we compete to win the School Potato Grower of the Year award, held at the Newport Show.

Last year we were thrilled to announce that we came first in the local schools potato growing competition and won £100 for our school. Our crop weighed a massive 4.34Kg and we even beat professional potato grower Richard Maddocks.

We have a group of children that will nurture the potatoes and monitor their growth on a daily basis.

We will continue to add photos to chart their progress in the school gallery for you all to see.
