In Science we have enjoyed monitoring the growth of our plants. We looked closely at all the different parts of a plant and drew pictures and labelled them.
The Year 1's designed a fruit salad. They then evaluated these and really enjoyed tasting them.
Reception children tasted a selection of fruit and then designed a fruit kebab. They all then went on to evaluate and eat it, which was a big hit.
As it was St. George's Day we had some themed activities in class.
In R.E we have been learning about Islam and the Qur'an.
Outdoor Learning
We made the most of the beautiful weather and enjoyed our outdoor learning.
Science
We started our controlled seed experiment. We planted seeds and put them in a variety of locations with varying conditions. We will monitor these over the coming weeks to see how the various conditions impact on the growth of the seeds.
Potato Planting
We planted the potatoes ready for the Newport Show Schools potato growing competition.
