Year 2 walked up to Burton Borough School on Wednesday afternoon, through the wind and hail, to take part in the Newport Big Sing.  They joined four other Newport Schools in singing some joint songs and entertained everyone with two songs that they have been learning in class.  It was a wonderful event and a great experience for the children, performing in front of such a large group.  I was immensely proud of them.  A big thank you to Mrs Powell for getting them so well prepared for the event.
