We made use of St. Andrew’s Church to have a short Easter assembly.  Our RE work has focused on Christianity this half term and this week the children have learnt about the Easter story and why Christians celebrate Easter.  Class 2 learnt an Easter poem to share and Class 1 shared their Easter cards.  We ended the assembly with a thoughtful moment by lighting a candle and saying a short prayer.  The children really embodied our school value of Respect throughout the assembly.
