British Ironworks Centre School Trip

What a wonderful school trip we had to the British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry on Wednesday. The Sun was shining and this made walking around the grounds such an enjoyable experience.

The children were amazed at the sheer size of the Art Sculptures and enjoyed looking closely to see the old recycled metal items being used to form part of the huge Sculptures. They spotted chains from bicycles, spoons, knives, cogs, springs and cans. We enjoyed going on a trail to find robots and answer the questions about the robots. They even got to see a superheroes installation of lots of their favourite characters. It certainly was such an inspiring day out and will really help us with our theme this term of recycling.
