Last weekend was a busy one for Mrs Pitt, our chair of governors and her husband, as they spent a day in school taking down our gazebo.  The wood had become very rotten over the years.  We found evidence of mice nests, lots of spiders and a new planting bed.   

The removal of the gazebo has completely changed the look of the playground, opening it up and allowing more light in.  The children are making lots of suggestions about what we could replace it with, including a hot tub! 

Mrs Pitt will be working with our new school council on more feasible ideas over the next couple of weeks.
