Harvest 2020

Thank you to all the donations that were sent into school for Harvest. Children enjoyed the little walk over to St Andrew's church to deliver these. 

All items collected will be delivered to the Newport Food Bank. 

We have had a busy week writing prayers and poems that give thanks.

We made a short film and of our Harvest activities. We hope you enjoy taking a moment t see everything we have been doing during Harvest in school.

In Science we have started the topic of Materials, We have started to explore different materials and their properties. Children sorted materials by their type and then again by their properties.

In Class 2 children have been finding out about the artist Pablo Picasso. They have been painting their self portraits and started to try some exciting experiments in cutting up parts of their paintings to reassemble in a new and exciting way.

We all had great fun settling back into school and finding out about our new class routines.
